Flying Scotsman Centenary
We are very excited to announce that 60103 Flying Scotsman, the world’s most famous steam engine, will visit The Keighley & Worth Valley in May 2023 to celebrate the locomotive’s centenary.
Civil Week 2022

Marking the 40th anniversary of the South Atlantic conflict, surviving sister locomotive 45596 Bahamas, has been temporarily renamed to 45606 “Falkland Islands”!

75078 BR Standard Class 4 Boiler
Today the boiler for 75078 has been placed back onto the frames.
Class 144 ‘Pacer’ for KWVR
The Class 144 ‘Pacer’ unit will move to our base in Haworth following its retirement from an operation on the national rail network with Northern, currently expected to be in late May.
