Experience the Railway from the Guards Van on the Goods Train.
What can you expect?
Take a trip along the railway in a Former Southern Railway Brake restored by The Bahamas Locomotive Society and get a unique view of the railway. The ‘Queen Mary’ Brake Van will be behind the locomotive at the Oxenhope end of the Goods Train, so you’ll be riding directly behind the locomotive on the climb out of the valley.
What you need to know
- You must be over 18 and in good health to participate.
- You must be fit to climb on/off the vehicle whilst in a platform or a siding (in an emergency).
- You are not permitted to wear open-toed shoes or loose clothing during this experience.
- These are supplementary tickets, and you must also ensure you have a valid travel ticket.
- Once you have booked your place, you must complete the Indemnity Form linked in the email.
