On selected dates in May, you can get up close to Flying Scotsman at Ingrow or Haworth Yard, with tickets now on sale. There are a limited number of tickets, and booking is essential.

Immerse yourself in the sights and smells of a working locomotive shed; 60103 Flying Scotsman will be serviced in the yard at Haworth. You’ll be able to get close to the locomotive while our volunteer guide explains what is happening. Don’t forget your camera for this unique chance to photograph 60103 in the yard!

Along with unlimited travel on our trains for the day, you will receive a timed slot to visit the cab of Flying Scotsman with one of our experienced locomotive experts giving an explanation of the controls. The loco will be alive with a fire in its belly and all the smells of coal, steam and oil that come with it, a truly multisensory experience!
