It is Half Term and Halloween Week on the KWVR offering passenger services throughout the week. 78022 will be hauling the Saturday steam service and will be joined by 41241 on Sunday for the first of our Halloween days. No. 85 will be operating Monday - Friday and on Thursday we have the second of our Halloween days when 78022 will be in action again alongside 85. The Class 101 diesel multiple unit will operate the Saturday diesel service.
The Beer & Music Festival Festival continues, the KWVR offering passenger services on transporting visitors to Festival's diverse venues. There will be no less than 4 steam locomotives and a mainline diesel hauling services across the next 7 days. The Wednesday railcar service this week will be replaced by a steam hauled service.
Saturday Diesel & Ale service plus steam passenger services this weekend and with the Wednesday railcar service and Beer & Music Festival, the KWVR is this week offering continuous passenger services on 5 of the 7 days, with no less than 3 steam locomotives, two mainline diesels and one diesel railcar providing passenger services.
The weekend's steam service will be hauled along the Valley by 5820 with the Saturday and Wednesday diesel service in the hands of our Class 101 Diesel multiple unit.
Haworth Shop will be closed from the 5th to the 10th November for work to be undertaken to replace the Booking Hall floor.
After the intensity of the Beer & Music Festival services, stretching from 09.00 to after midnight for our locomotive crews, we return to normality with 75078 on the steam service at the weekend and 41241 working the half term weekday service.

October sees the introduction of the revised Blue timetable with the second train operated by one of our diesel railcars with one steam hauled service on both Saturday and Sunday. 41241 will operate the steam services on both days with diesel railcar services on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday operated by the Class 101 diesel multiple unit

There is a daily steam service this week for the school half term holiday and 43924 will be at operating every day, being replaced for the weekend steam service by visitor 44871.

A change to the original roster for the steam locomotive this weekend with WD 90733 now scheduled for the steam services on Saturday and Sunday.
Having arrived on Friday and operated all steam services at the weekend, LMS ‘Black 5’ 4-6-0 44871, is once again scheduled to be on duty over the coming weekend.
All being well, LMS 'Black 5' 4-6-0 44871, which was scheduled to arrive for last week's services will arrive on the Railway ready to take up its duties on the Railway this weekend.
This weekend's passenger service will be in the hands of 5820 and the diesel railbus M79964 will be out on the mainline after its summer rest.

After an excellent Autumn Steam Spectacular when our staff and volunteers put on a great show, it is back to our normal timetables this weekend with 75078 on the Saturday and Sunday steam service.
After the setbacks of previous years the team bringing the Autumn Steam Spectacular to the Railway breathed a combined sigh of relief when guest locomotives 34053 (Tuesday) and 7822 (Wednesday) passed through the gates of Ingrow Station for offloading for the short journey to Haworth. The stage is now set for a truly spectacular weekend of steam action.

Visitors to the Railway should be aware that the Winter Timetable comes into effect this weekend with the last public passenger train from Oxenhope at 15.30, Saturday and 16.15, Sunday and from Keighley at 16.15 Saturday and 17.00 Sunday.

Funds in the region of £35,000 were raised by participants on the Manorlands Starlight Hike with the walkers being transported to the start at Oakworth by the KWVR.
