Bridge 27 Update

Trains return to Keighley Station
Saturday 2nd March, trains return to Keighley Station during the on-going refurbishment.
Trains are still running!
Every weekend while Keighley Station is closed.
Levelling Up Fund
The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway has been provisionally awarded a grant of £5m from the government’s “Levelling Up Fund”.
Bridge 27 Update
Work is now planned for the 5th to the 10th of November and will involve removing the track and exposing the culvert, along with establishing the location of the foundations of the cottages which used to be present where the track is now.
Bridge 27 Renewal
The Bridge 27 renewal project is quickly coming over the horizon as the next big civil engineering project for the railway.

Civil Week 2023
The annual Civil Maintenance Department ‘Civil Week’ was held in September. This is our annual possession where anyone and everyone comes together to deliver major civil engineering works under the watchful eye of the railway’s engineers.
