Find time to stop at Ingrow …
…. where Ingrow West Station and Yard have been transformed into Rail Story – a collaborative plan between the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, the Vintage Carriages Trust and the Bahamas Locomotive Society to develop the site progressively giving visitors greater opportunities to learn about and understand about the preservation and conservation of our railway heritage. Other organisations on the KWVR
As you travel around the KWVR you may be forgiven for thinking that everything you see, and maybe even travel in, belongs to the KWVR. On one of our Vintage Sundays, you may be travelling in a coach that dates back to the 19th Century, but that coach has been lovingly restored by one of our sister organisations to be found on the KWVR, organisations who are also custodians of historic coaches and locomotives.
Vintage Carriages Trust – lovingly restored coaches dating back over 130 years
Bahamas Locomotive Society – custodians of LMS Jubilee Class locomotive no. 45596 ‘Bahamas’ and four other historic locomotives
Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Trust – owners of a collection a priceless restored coaches from Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway plus two locomotives from that railway
