The Elf Explorer
Santa’s mischievous helpers are taking over the railway! Join the Elf Explorer for a jolly journey through the Worth Valley as our cheeky elves entertain you and your family with games, songs, and festive fun onboard a beautifully decorated heritage train.
Children will meet Father Christmas himself and receive a special gift, while grown-ups can enjoy a festive tipple and mince pie during the ride. It’s the perfect way to kick-start the holiday spirit!

Step off the platform and into a classic Christmas tale! Experience Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol like never before with a live, immersive performance aboard our historic carriages.
Let the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future take you on a journey of reflection and redemption — all while travelling through the wintery Yorkshire landscape. Performed by professional actors and infused with Victorian charm, this unique experience is sure to warm even Scrooge’s heart.
