The weekend's virtual steam service will be hauled along the Valley by 78022 on Saturday. Sunday sees a 2 steam train service, 78022 being joined by 43924. The Diesel & Ale service will operate on Saturday with 20 031, and steam returns on Wednesday with 43924.
It is with considerable regret that, due to the ongoing Covid-19 public health crisis, the planned Diesel Gala, due to take place 26th – 28th June has been cancelled.

The 'Worth Saving' Appeal was launched to raise funds to combat the devastating effects of COVID-19, it's aim to raise a minimum of £200,000. Journeying back to 2014, when this weekend celebrated the 1940s with Haworth 1940s Weekend when 5820 and 90733 took centre stage in Haworth Yard for a dedication service conducted by the Rector of Haworth, going on to head the weekend's passenger services with 37 075 taking the morning diesel service.
5820 and 43924 will be complementing each other on the virtual steam hauled services over the Bank Holiday weekend with our class 101 Diesel Multiple Unit operating the diesel services on Saturday and Wednesday
The weekend's steam service will be hauled along the Valley by 78022 on Saturday. Sunday sees a 2 steam train service, 78022 being joined by 43924. The Class 101 diesel multiple unit will operate the Saturday morning diesel railcar service. Steam continues throughout the week with 43924.
The Bank Holiday weekend sees the start of 7 day passenger services. The weekend starts with a Diesel & Ale service hauled by 37 075 with 78022 on the steam service. 78022 is joined by 75078 on Sunday and Monday and the pair also join forces for a children's Princesses and Superheroes event on Wednesday & Thursday. 75078 operates alone on Tuesday and Friday when the Vintage Tour Bus makes its first appearance of the year.

The steam service will be hauled along the Valley by our USATC S160 no. 5820 on Saturday. Sunday sees a 2 steam train service, 5820 being joined by 78022. The Class 101 diesel multiple unit will operate the Saturday morning diesel railcar service.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The 'Tour De Yorkshire' will be running through and around the Worth Valley and as a result, there will be some road closures in the area.
7 day running starts this weekend with 43924 operating Saturday and Sunday services. 5820 will power the second train on Sunday and will continue on the weekday service.
Class 25 diesel 25 059 will be hauling the second Diesel & Ale train of the year on Saturday with 75078 on duty Saturday – Bank Holiday Monday and 43924 joining in Sunday and Monday and continuing throughout the rest of the half-term week. The Vintage tour bus has its first outing of 2018, Tuesday - Friday.
A further 3 locomotives have been announced to take part in the 50th Anniversary Gala celebration - two steam locomotives, 45212 and 34092 'City of Wells' and one diesel, Class 50, 50 035 'Ark Royal'
This weekend is the annual Haworth 1940s Weekend when the area is transported back in time. To ensure that visitors are ferried along the Valley with minimum delay, 3 steam locomotives and one mainline diesel will be in operation throughout both days of the vent - almost a mini-gala. Locomotives this weekend are, steam 5820, 75078 and 43924 and diesel 20 031.
An opportunity has arisen to work as a bar steward on the on-train bar. This is a weekend paid role and you will work as part of our catering team. If you have what it takes, then read on.
Once again 5820 will be hauling the steam service this weekend and our Class 101 DMU will operate the diesel service both at the weekend and on the mid-week railcar service.
Class 20 diesel 20 031 will be hauling the first Diesel & Ale trains of the year on Saturday with 5820 on duty Saturday - Bank Holiday Monday and 43924 joining in Sunday and Monday.
On Saturday 27th May, it is Diesel & Ale Day when our diesel service will be formed of Mk.1 stock with on-train bar facilities sponsored by BIngley Brewery and hauled by 25 059. The steam service will have 75078 at the head. For the Sunday and Monday 2 steam service, 75078 will be joined by 5820. Tuesday - Friday will see 43924 take over for weekday running being joined by 75078 on Wednesday and Thursday
Weekend of 10th and 11th June sees the return of the Steam & Ale Trail for its second year and for 2017 it is bigger and better. All the details are now on-line, the event will be open from 11.00 to 22.00 on the Saturday and from 11.00 to 18.00 on the Sunday. There will be bars at every station and at Ingrow there will also be musical entertainment on Saturday and family entertainment on the Sunday.
April 1st 2017 will long be remembered in the Worth Valley as the day that started a magnificent 9 days with the world's most famous stream locomotive, 'Flying Scotsman'. Starting with 2 days on static display at Ingrow West Station, this was followed by 7 days of action with 'Flying Scotsman' hauling trains every day between Keighley and Oxenhope. Everyone involved with the KWVR take great pride in delivering this memorable occasion and this photographic gallery is a wonderful reminder on one week at the beginning of April 2017.
This weekend we feature 3 days of passenger services with three locomotives that saw action during WW2 hauling our steam services. 90733 is in operation on all three days being joined by 5820 and 43924 on Saturday and Sunday

With only nine weeks to go until our brand new "Little Engines Gala" we are delighted to announce our first visiting locomotive, 'Austerity' 0-6-0ST 71515 'Mech Navvies' a type of engine that featured in the early days of the KWVR with two examples of the class operational during the early years.

This weekend is the second of our mainline diesel Saturdays when we will be running diesel locomotive hauled trains ALL DAY, as well as the regular steam hauled service, PLUS a railcar Keighley - Damems Shuttle.
Locomotives built specifically for the war effort take centre stage for the Haworth 1940s Weekend when the village is transformed by crowds and bunting in celebration of the war years. War Department locomotive 90733 will feature on all 3 days but this year will be supported by 43924, 5820, our second wartime locomotive being stopped for essential repairs.
85 was star of the show at this year's Winter Steam Gala, returning to action for the first time since restoration to lined out Taff Vale Railway livery. Also in action were 5820, 43924, 1054 and 1704 'Nunlow'
This weekend sees 75078 operating steam services on Saturday and Sunday with TVR no. 85 hauling a 3 coach set on Sunday. Additionally D0226 will be hauling coaches to form the 2 diesel services on Sunday. A weekend with something for everyone.
