The Wizard’s Apprentice Show

This spellbinding show is performed three times daily at Oxenhope Exhibition Shed and features Master Skerrold & The Apprentice.

Show times are 1130, 1300 & 1500

In a parallel reality to our own, the ancient wizard Master Skerrold leads “The Assembly”, a secret society of immortal warlocks entrusted with protecting the human world and keeping the elemental powers of Earth, Air, Wind & Fire in balance.

Master Skerrold welcomes non-magical folk with his apprentices to join them in a celebration of magic! The Apprentice will sit their Magical Exams live in front of the audience.

What could possibly go wrong??…..

This fantastic family show features comedy, plenty of audience participation and incredible illusions that will leave everyone believing that magic does exist.

Following the show, audience members can pose for photographs with cast members.

Make a Wand on the move!

The witch or wizard’s most powerful tool is their wand. And no two are alike.

Create your own bespoke magical wand and pour all the magic you wish to use into it.

Learn how to bind your wand so the magic stays strong and decorate it with magical objects that harness the enchantment around it.

A skilled wand craftsman will be on hand to help you create your very own wand to take away.

The ‘Make a Wand” station will be onboard the train in a special carriage.

Create your own potion

Create your own magic potion that you can take away and drink!

Choose which ingredients you want to use to make the perfect potion.

Will you be a good witch? Or a dark wizard? Control plants? Or create storms on demand?

You decide.

The Potion Class will take place at The Old Parcels Office at Keighley Station. The Position Workshops will be open from 1030 – 1115, 1145 – 1300, 1300 – 1500 and 1530 – 1600.

On The Train

On the Move Magician

Watch out on your train journey through the Worth Valley as the roaming magician will suddenly appear at your table to amaze you with magical feats of wonder!

What will your magic word be…

Marakel and Mistletyne

Marakel and Mistletyne are a daring duo who are the best flyers in the whole castle. Brave and boisterous, these two mischievous witches will bring a smile to every face.

They are the guardians of Skerrold’s Castle and are always alert to any interlopers from the Dark Realm seeking to cause mayhem. Adults beware – if they find you deeply suspicious, they may well interrogate you thoroughly, much to the hilarity of the kids…!

Ord The Ogre

Keeper of the castle and guardian of the keys, Ord is an imposing figure but a giant with a heart of gold.

He might look a little scary, but this larger-than-life Ogre is sure to be best friends with kids of all ages.
