Ann & Dora Special

Step aboard for an evening of steam, supper, and something a little different!

This special event brings together Ann and Dora — two locomotives rarely used on passenger trains — for a one-of-a-kind evening along the Worth Valley. Usually seen working during Galas, these locomotives will take centre stage as they haul passenger services for a memorable night out.

Your ticket includes:

  • A full line trip, from Oxenhope to Keighley and back
  • Multiple shuttle journeys to Oakworth
  • A hearty Sausage & Mash supper served during the evening
  • A Day Rover, for the day of your booking, to journey along the railway all day

The ‘Jubilee Bar’ will be serving throughout the evening, with plenty of hand-pulled real ale on board.

With steam in the air, delicious food on your plate, and the rare chance to travel behind Ann and Dora, this is an evening not to be missed!

Due to the age and delicate nature of the carriages used for the Evening Special, dogs are not permitted to board.

We recognise that these dogs provide valuable assistance for the sight-impaired and those with hearing loss, epilepsy, diabetes, physical mobility problems and more. Assistance Dogs are welcome on ALL KWVR trains, for which no charge is made.

Our historic railway carriages are primarily restored to reflect their original construction; therefore, access is a step up from the platform and down to alight to board the train. This means that the carriages are unable to accommodate wheelchair passengers. We can provide a small ramp to aid with limited mobility, but all passengers will be required to walk to their seats along the narrow walkway.

We are unable to offer any dietary options other than Vegetarian for the Evening Special. We are unable to accommodate any other dietary restrictions or food intolerances.
