A Christmas Carol

Join us in the 2024 Winter season for the world debut of our immersive ‘A Christmas Carol’ Railway theatrical experience.

A Christmas Carol is one of the nation’s most beloved Christmas stories;

DATES: 28th & 29th November, 5th, 6th, 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th December

PRICE: £35 Adult / £30 Children

You’ll navigate an authentic Victorian street to find us in Scrooge’s office on Christmas Eve, where the miserly mister is counting his pennies. After dismissing the warm-hearted Cratchits and refusing to participate in Christmas cheer, you’ll be at the very centre of the action as the ghostly Marley arrives to warn Scrooge about the errors of his ways.

Scrooge, uncaring, falls asleep and then the true wonder begins, for there is Christmas magic at work! From out of the steam, a familiar sound…a mystic train arrives, ready to take Scrooge – and you – on a spellbinding and transcendent journey through past, present, and future.

Scrooge won’t be the same when he returns, and neither – perhaps – will you.

This production combines the beautiful surroundings and experience of the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway with prestige theatre, including some of the nation’s most highly trained performers and an acclaimed and award-winning production team.

This experience has been tailored for you and your family this Christmas.

This year, we have a limited number of Accessibility Seats. The railway uses rolling stock from the 1950s and 60s, but we have converted one of our coaches to have Accessibility Seating. These can only be booked by emailing our Booking Office. Each train has space for a Wheelchair with three seats, so the maximum bookable is 4. These seats are only available on the Oxenhope departures.

Please email bookings@kwvr.co.uk

Whilst we are dog-friendly, we regret we do not allow dogs on our Christmas Carol Train.

The Carriages don’t have a lot of room for our four-legged friends. The aisle is busy, and we wouldn’t want dogs to get stepped on.

Accessibility Dogs are welcome if you could email bookings@kwvr.co.uk so that we can arrange this.
