Climb aboard our festively decorated train and let our team of mischievous elves whisk you away on a joyful journey through the snowy Worth Valley. The Elf Explorer is more than a train ride — it’s an immersive Christmas experience bursting with laughter, music, and enchantment from the moment you step onto the platform.
As the train gently pulls out of Oxenhope Station, the fun begins. Elves will roam the carriages with songs, games, and plenty of cheeky antics to keep children entertained from start to finish. But the real excitement comes when Father Christmas makes his grand entrance!

An Atmospheric Evening of Victorian Ghost
This December, step back in time and journey with us into the heart of a classic Victorian Christmas. In partnership with the excellent Electric Pressy, KWVR presents a unique, live performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol — staged on the stage and aboard one of our heritage steam trains.
As the night draws in and the train begins its slow, atmospheric journey through the Worth Valley, you’ll be surrounded by the sights, sounds, and characters of Dickens’ beloved tale. Witness Ebenezer Scrooge’s transformation first-hand, guided by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come — all performed by a talented cast amidst the soft flicker of lantern light and the rhythmic beat of the rails.
