“Keighley” Tangerine Running Board

Original British Railways North Eastern Region tangerine running board with white “KEIGHLEY” lettering.

This running board would have been situated on Keighley Station. We think there were four in total on the station, and they were attached to the walls under the station access ramps, as can be seen on Platforms 3 and 4 with replica red ones today.

 The locations of three of these running boards are known. (One is displayed in the Water Tower at Keighley Railway Station, and the other two are at the Vintage Carriage Trust at Ingrow West Railway Station, with one being shown).
