Moving surplus Materials to Oakworth before bringing back 50+ Sleepers.

The last day of the possession was yesterday, with the Railway handed back at 20:30.

As the week draws to a close, we are pleased to say the job ran on time.

Third of the Piling Mat & Drainage Works, with Pile Mat 1 being fully constructed and packed down,

We are pleased to say it’s going well on the second day of the Pile Mat construction.

The Pile Mat dug out at the Keighley side of the Bridge while drainage work is carried out on the Oxenhope Side of the Bridge.

A Preparation Week, with the main focus being drainage work and then installing the piling mats.

Today has seen the Trench Boxes constructed and ready for the coming week’s possession at Bridge 27.

Yesterday evening saw the first Tuesday Evening working gang of 2024; the small gang split into two groups with work focused on Bridge 27 preparation works.

Over the last few weeks, a small team has been chopping sleepers up to make infills for the siding span of Bridge 27.
