Bridge 27 Preparation

We are pleased to say it’s going well on the second day of the Pile Mat construction.

The first Pile Mat has been fully dug out, and the start of filling it back with 6F5 has begun. To make sure the Pile Mat is constructed right, we are using a pre-determined thickness before compacting it down and then adding another layer, repeating this process up to the bottom ballast level. The Drainage Job is progressing nicely, with the drain being diverted away and the first of a few concrete pours laid,
