Bridge 27 Preparation

This week is another Preparation Week at the Bridge 27 site, with the main focus being drainage work and then installing the piling mats for the piling work, which will take place in May.

During the day, the gang finished off the plant crossing and installed metal poles at various points, which will be used for mounting the Heras Fencing, which will be around the site in May and September. Once the last passenger train was put back to bed and 78022 was back in the shed, The Gang jumped into action, removing the rails and sleepers before relocating a Pole that was going to be in the way of the pile mat on the Keighley side of the Bridge.
