Saturday sees the continued presence of 75078 but 5820 comes on duty towards the end of the day. 5820 and 1054 will head the main steam services on Sunday with 41241 operating the last of our daily Summer services.
The Bank Holiday weekend starts with the monthly Diesel and Ale service. 25 059 is rostered for this train with 5820 on the steam service. 5820 will be joined on Sunday and Monday by 41241. Tuesday to Friday weekday services will be hauled by 75078

Throughout the weekend and the following week 75078 will head the main steam services, joined by 41241 on 3 suburban coaches on Sunday.
The heavy rains have helped dampen the lineside and steam trains are scheduled to run throughout the week with trains hauled by 43924 (dry conditions permitting).
Over the next 7 days 3 locomotives will be in action, 75078 Monday, Saturday and Sunday and on the weekday service 43924. Sharing duties at the weekend with 75078 will be 85 on the last of this year's Vintage Train Sundays
Throughout the week we will have 90733 in operation, being replaced by 75078 on Saturday and Sunday with 43924 joining in on Sunday. Saturday is Diesel & Ale Day with an all day diesel service on Saturday hauled by one of our main line diesels, 37 075, sponsored by Salamander Brewery.
Major disruption in Keighley town centre will mean there is no parking in or around Keighley Station on Saturday 2nd September.
This week the steam service Monday – Saturday will have 5820 at the head operating 5 round trips per day. 5820 will also be in action on Saturday but gives way to 90733 on the main service on Sunday and 85 on the rake of vintage coaches operating a further Vintage Sunday train service.
Throughout the week and on both days of the weekend, we will have 90733 in operation, being joined by 43924 on Sunday.

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway will feature in the new film version of Swallows and Amazons which is released today, an adaptation of Arthur Ransome's children's book based in the 1930s. Radio Leeds' Tracy Gee was at Oxenhope Station to record reaction to the event and interview our very own film maestro, Roger France.
Sunday 21st August is the last chance of 2016 to ride on the Vintage Train, once again being hauled by TVR 0-6-2T no. 85 with Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0T 1704 'Nunlow' on the Keighley - Ingrow shuttle. The weekend service will be in the hands of 90733 and the weekday services will be hauled by 43924
75078 returns this weekend and continues through to Friday 19th. 43924 joins 75078 on Sunday with D0226 providing the early morning diesel service.
90733 continues on duty through to Sunday when it will be joined by 85, on Oxenhope - Keighley all-line Vintage Train, and 1054 on the Keighley - Ingrow shuttle. This week the weekday steam services will be in the capable hands of 43924.

Held in the last week of February, first of March, Fair Trade Fortnight showcases Fair Trade foods and the Railway were delighted to help with the running of a FairTrain in support of Haworth village, the first Fair Trade village in the world
