On Sunday and Monday of the Bank Holiday weekend there will be a celebration of film, past and present at Rail Story, Ingrow and Oxenhope Exhibition Shed - an event to be enjoyed by all the family!
There are 3 days of steam action this weekend with both 90733 and 75078 operating services plus the bonus of mainline diesel traction all day Saturday with 37 075.
75078 substituted for 90733 but the latter should be on duty this weekend subject to final checks. 43924 will substitute should 90733 not be available.
This weekend's steam action will be provided by 90733 returning to action after extensive repairs.

Join us as we celebrate 45 years since the filming of The Railway Children right here at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. The celebration runs for 3 days over the weekend and Bank Holiday with a full programme of events and re-enactments.
With two train operation over 'The Railway Children' weekend, the rostered locomotives for the whole weekend will be 34092 'Wells' and 43924. In addition there will be a Haworth Locomotive Works tour on Saturday and Sunday meeting at Haworth station at 13.55 for a behind-the-scenes look at what really goes on behind closed doors. Add to that guided Railway Children Walks on Saturday and Monday and a Railway Children bus tour on Monday and it all adds up to an exciting family weekend in prospect.
Four new real-ales are in the bat car this weekend. Two from near-by Skipton and two from further south in Rutland and London.
For one KWVR visitor the recent diesel day when Class 37 37 075 ran extra service trains to provide two train operation alongside our normal steam service proved a great success. Here Robert batty gives us his thoughts.
