Bridge 27 PHASE 1

Due to last night’s break-in on site, work was slow to start this morning. The police are aware, and ongoing investigations are underway.

Keller UK did their best, and thankfully, the drill rig was back in operation by mid-afternoon, allowing piling work to continue on the North Side. By the end of the day at 6 pm, two piles were drilled.

Work on the South side has been progressing well, with all spoil now excavated. This enabled the installation of the geotextile and geogrid layers before laying and compacting the first layer of pile mat material.
