As in past years, the KWVR is operating a scenic bus tour of the upper Worth Valley in conjunction with Classic Vehicles of Yesteryear. If the weather is fine an open top vehicle may be used – time to blow away those cobwebs whilst enjoying views over Haworth Moor and a very different view of the Worth Valley. Don’t forget a hat and sun tan lotion if the sun shines – it may be cooler on the top deck, but that sun will still burn.
You can pick up the bus at Haworth Station, Bronte Parsonage or Oxenhope Station. From Haworth Station the bus heads up the steep hill towards the top of Main Street and the Bronte Parsonage. After stopping in a handy location for shops and attractions (at the bus stop adjacent to the car park at the junction of Changegate and North Street), the bus continues via Bronte countryside towards Oxenhope, providing stunning views on the way. The bus then takes a direct route back to Haworth with views across the valley towards Haworth.
This bus is FREE with any of our Rover tickets. A small charge is payable by other ticket holders. ENCTS bus passes are not accepted.
For times of the tours, these are included in the weekday ORANGE timetable. Just click on the link for the times.
If you don’t buy a Rover ticket, you can pay for a ticket on the bus. The fare for the journey is paid to the bus conductor on the day.
