Haworth Haddock

The sell-out Haworth Haddock is back for 2024!

The Haworth Haddock returns for 2024, serving the best local Fish & Chips while travelling through the Worth Valley behind a steam locomotive.

Start your evening at Oxenhope Station, where plenty of parking spaces are available. Check in and go to the Exhibition Shed or Platform while waiting to board your train. When the train has been thoroughly prepared and pre-ordered drinks prepared, boarding will take place at 19.00; take your seat for a 19:10 departure.

The fish and chips will be delivered to you at Keighley Station, and you can enjoy them at your seat. A local ‘chippy’ in Crossflatts – Jacks Fisheries, provides the fish and chips. Once everyone has their fish and chips, we will begin our journey whilst you enjoy the food. Once at Oxenhope, stretch your legs whilst we restock the bar and prepare the train for your return journey to Keighley.

Once we arrive at Keighley for the second time, a band will be waiting to entertain you; sit back and listen or join your fellow passengers and dance the night away on the platform. Bands will be announced when we have confirmation from them. The bar will be open throughout when you work up a thirst from the dancing.

The music will continue until about 22:40. After this, it’s back on the train, ready to head back to Oxenhope.

pre-order drinks

You can now pre-order a selection of drinks to be at your table when you board the Haworth Haddock; these will be available after selecting your tickets and before paying for your booking.

  • Timothy Taylor’s Landlord
The drinkers’ favourite, a classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma.
  • Saltaire Blonde
Light and refreshing, our signature Blonde ale balances soft malt flavours with subtle spice from Bohemian Saaz hops.
  • Timothy Taylor’s Landlord Dark
This perfectly balanced mellow dark beer has body and depth. It has a fruity, toasted aroma with hints of chocolate, citrus and roasted malts on the tongue. A darker shade of pale!
  • Bulmers Crushed Red Berries and Lime
This fruit cider is a delightful burst of mixed red berries on your tongue. With the sweet and tangy notes of raspberry, redcurrant and strawberry cut with the zesty hint of lime
  • Thatchers Gold
Gold showcases the very best of what cider-making is all about. Crafted from a blend of our favourite apples, including Dabinett and Harry Masters Jersey, Gold sets the standard.
  • Thatchers Rose
A sweet sparkling cider. Blended dessert apples like the tangy Cripps Pink, with Fuji’s honey notes and Gala’s floral aroma. All are perfectly crafted with a distinctive rosy colour.
  • Budweiser Budvar
Brewed using whole-cone, Saaz hops from Žatec, pristine water from an Ice Age aquifer, Moravian malting barley and our heritage lager yeast, this classic rich and full-flavoured lager sets the gold standard for Czech brewing across the world. The tradition of cold-conditioning in our brewery cellars for seven times longer than most other beers creates a pale lager with a sweet, deep golden body and an aromatic, hoppy foam. Bold in taste, yet refreshing and perfectly balanced.
  • Krombacher
Naturally brewed according to the German beer purity law (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516, using the finest Hallertau Siegel hops and selected malts together with the famous Felsquellwasser mountain spring water. Krombacher Pils is delicately bitter, full-flavoured and hugely refreshing.
  • Pinot Grigio
  • Sauvignon Blanc
  • Shiraz
  • Merlot
  • Rose
  • Prosecco Brut (£19.50)
  • J20 – Apple and Mango
A bang of fruity flavour that hits the taste-buds
  • J20 –  Orange and Passion Fruit
A mouth-watering blend – zesty orange and exotic passionfruit perfectly blended into a classic flavour combination.
