Ivatt 41241 Appeal

We are currently fundraising to bring the Ivatt 41241 back into service for June 2018 to celebrate our 50th anniversary of the re-opening of the railway in 1968. We have been fundraising over recent years to raise the funds required to bring her back into service, but we still need to raise at least £35,000 to reach our target.

The Ivatt team have been working hard in the depths of Haworth shed but for this weekend only the engine has been released from Haworth and there will be a unique opportunity for you to view the progress being made with the partially restored 41241 on display in the Exhibition shed.

Members of the restoration team will be on hand throughout the event so you can meet the people responsible for the work that has taken place and result of their labours to date.

With £35,000 still to raise the Ivatt Appeal Group will have a sales stand at Oxenhope selling Ivatt Appeal merchandise and volunteers on hand to discuss ways in which you can help in raising those final pounds.
