From Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October there is a Halloween theme to our midweek steam trains as we build up to our very special events on Halloween itself. All children travelling on the train will receive a Scary Trains activity pack free of charge. Perfect for your young aspiring witches and wizards, find the creepy clues hidden around the railway to receive a sweet treat!

So if you are looking for a family day out during the half-term break, why not come and have some fun before the real frights start on Saturday 31 October!

See below for our very special Scary Trains on Saturday 31 October.

Saturday 31st – Halloween by Day

Our steam hauled service is operating to the advertised timetable, however, all our steam trains will be Trick or Treat trains, suitable for all the family. Brave young explorers can join Winifred Witch, searching the Worth Valley by train to find clues and collect the ingredients to add to a wicked potion Winifred and friends will be cooking up on board our trains. Of course, there will be tricks and treats along your journey.
