Children’s Lock-down Activities

Although restrictions are easing, our children continue to be confined to home for much of the time. As COVID-19 continues to keep us lock-down our Social Media team have come up with some KWVR themed activities to do at home.

You can’t visit the Railway at the moment, so to start the ball rolling, we’ve put together some activities for you to print off and do at home.

Click on the picture on the left and colour it in as you want and, just to help, we have included the photograph it came from on the right. We’d love to see your completed pictures, so make sure to tag us on Facebook and Instagram!

Just click on either picture to download and print at home.

Where have you seen this engine before? This is no. 5775 and was one of the main engines in the film The Railway Children

Oakworth – The Railway Children lived in their house ‘Three Chimneys’ near this station, where Mr. Perks was the station porter.

This is engine number 43924 and is 100 year old this year. Birthday celebrations will have to wait until the Railway is running again.
