Vintage Bus Tours around the Worth Valley have become as much a part of the Summer scene as steam trains.
Tours around the Worth Valley linking Oxenhope Station, Haworth Village and Haworth Station will be running every day from the 24th July to the 3rd September, Vintage Bus Tours will operate between the 3 stops, the first bus departing Haworth at 11.05 giving 6 round trips throughout the day. The bus will take you from Haworth Station to Haworth Main Street where you can then disembark and visit the Brontë Parsonage Museum.
These vintage buses are owned and have been beautifully restored by, Classic Vehicles of Yesteryear and in good weather passengers may get the opportunity to travel on the top deck of either of the two open top buses owned by them, a great way to see the wonderful scenery around the moors and valleys of the area. On less suitable days an alternative bus will be running from the restored fleet of ex-Leeds and Bradford 1950s and 1960s bus fleet.
Make the most of the bus and spend a full day in Haworth. Buy a Rover ticket on the railway and then travel on the bus for free. Holders of a Small Family Rover ticket will receive a voucher for a 10% discount off a Family Ticket to the Brontë Parsonage Museum. Alternatively if you start at the Brontë Parsonage Museum you can purchase a Family Ticket and then receive a 10% discount voucher off our Small Family Rover ticket, plus free travel on the bus.
