2017 details

Why not come and join us on board for a superb curry from one of Keighley’s leading Indian restaurants and have a drink in the Award winning real ale buffet car. Then dance the evening away to live entertainment on Keighley station.

The evening will start at Oxenhope where your train will be in the platform for 7pm ready for you to board. There will be two “Real Ale” bars selling a wide selection of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks along with tea & coffee. We will have anything up to six different real ales available to choose from, all competitively priced. Not only will real ale be available but bars will be stocking a selection of bottled lagers and small and large bottles of wine.

The train will depart from Oxenhope at 7:30pm and make its way to Keighley where we will be picking up the curry, brought to the train from a local Indian restaurant. There will be a choice of curry available to passengers which will consist of:

  • One Mild Chicken Curry
  • One Medium Chicken Balti
  • One Mild Vegetable Curry
  • One Hot Vegetable Curry

Once the curry has been served the train will return non-stop to Oxenhope before returning to Keighley where live music will be provided by a local band. Passengers will be encouraged to alight from the train and enjoy a boogie on the platform and work off the curry! Don’t worry if the typical British summer tries to ruin the evening as there’s a canopy at Keighley and you will be undercover – no reason not to get the dancing shoes on!

The train will then depart Keighley at 10:40pm and return to Oxenhope for approx. 23.10 where the evening will end.

These trains are expected to be very popular and numbers will be limited so advance booking is strongly advised. Seats may be sold on the day/night subject to availability.
