To mark the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the re-opening of the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, the Society has commissioned a new booklet charting not only the immense progress over those 50 years but tracing the Railway back to its roots in the 19th century.

June 2018 marks the 50th Anniversary of the re-opening of the Worth Valley Railway by the preservation society.

To mark the occasion the Society has commissioned a new booklet, Brontë Steam, charting those 50 years and delves back into the origins of railways in the Worth Valley through grouping, nationalisation, closure and re-birth.

Authored by Robin Jones of Heritage Railway, this not to be missed publication containing many previously unpublished photographs of the Railway.
